Our Beloved Auntie Marsha

GREAT Aunt Marsha
So it would be a huge overlook to not give all due notice to how terrific our Aunt Marsha is to have in our lives. She is more like a sister to me, being only 6 yrs age difference between us. She has taken care of me and given me love throughout my life and now she is taken Leahness under her wing (literally-see above) and is giving her the same respects. She did so much to make our stay in Michigan so special, providing us with welcome baskets full of travel goodies and gifts. She cooked great breakfasts for us and had tons of Leahness' favorite snacks on hand, not to mention the barrels of good tea to enjoy as well....and terrific biscuits alongside--jammy dodgers and wafer cookies!
I've always admired her for her organization and her attention to every detail. I used to watch her make list after list and watch her perfect penmanship roll across the page. I used to be so amazed at how she went about things in this world; so brave and strong and sure of what to do and what needed to be done. But all of the things she does only pale in comparison to what it is like to hear her laugh and to smile and to hug her. Leahness and I haven't seen her in such a long time, but like with the best people, time seems to stand still and you pick up right where you left off. Though leaving is so very hard, we are always connected. Leahness loves her Aunt Marsha just like I always did. She is so comfortable in her presence. She only acts like that with a handful of people; people she knows are the really great ones I'm guessing! Here's to hoping Leahness gets Aunt Marsha's incredibly fantastic heart for her family and attention to the little things that make people feel so very special.
Thank you Aunt Marsha from the 3 crazy gals from Texas. You are the best Aunt any niece or great-niece could ask for in this life.
Here's to hoping we'll see you soon!!!
